ناروے سے انڈیا سائیکل سفر پروگرام

ناروے کے سائیکل سوار شیٹل اتنے (Kjetil Utne ) کا 10000 کلومیٹر کا سائیکل سفر جولائی 2018 سے دسمبر 2018
تک – یہ سائیکل سفر ناروے سے شروع ہوکر سویڈن، لاتیوا، لتھونیا، بلاروس، یوکرائین، مولڈووا، جارجیا، آرمنیا، ایران، عراق، پاکستان میں سے گذرتا ہوا انڈیا میں اختتام پذیر ہوگا–

اس سفر میں سائیکل سوار سائکلنگ کے ساتھ ساتھ مختلف ممالک میں رہنے والے باشندوں کی زندگی کے حالات کے بارے میں جاننے کی کوشش کریں گے، خاص طور پر ان ممالک کے نوجوانوں، بچوں کی بودوباش، ان کی زندگی کے مسائل، ان کی ترقی کے مواقع کی معلومات اکٹھی کریں گے، اس اتنے لمبے سفر کا بنیادی مقصد نوجوانوں اور بچوں کے حقوق، ان کے اردگرد کے مسائل کو اجاگر کرنا ہے –

بچوں کو قانونی ، اخلاقی طور پر ہر طرح کے حقوق حاصل ہیں کہ ان کی زندگی کے فیصلے ان کی مشاورت کے ساتھ کیے جائے- اقوام متحدہ کا 1990 کا چارٹر نوجوانوں ،بچوں کو ہر قسم کا تحفظ ، ان کو زندگی کی بنیادی ضروریات فراہم کرنے کی ضمانت دیتا ہے، کہ ان پر کوئی بھی کسی بھی قسم کا دباو نہیں رکھ سکتا ، نہ ہو کوئی ان پر جبر ، ان کو ہراساں کر سکتا ہے –

شیٹل اتنے کے بقول وہ اس سارے سفر میں زیادہ سے زیادہ بچوں سے ملنے کی کوشش کرے گا –

Kjetil Utne (1955) will cycle from Norway to India, a distance of more than 10.000 km, between July and December 2018. The journey goes through the following countries: Norway, Sweden, Latvia, Lithuania. Belarus, Ukraine, Moldova, Georgia, Armenia, Iran, Iraq, Pakistan and India.

The purpose of the journey is to learn about people’s everyday life, and in particular the lives of children. My mission is to create awareness surrounding children’s rights, including their right to voice their opinion.

Children have a moral, as well as legal, right to participate in governance surrounding any issues that may affect them. The UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, ratified in 1990, sets out three broad categories of rights all children should enjoy: protection from threats, provision of basic services (like education), and participation in decisions affecting them.

I would like to meet children, young people and adults to learn about the everyday life of people residing along the route from Norway to India.
